Prior to performing any installation or onsite implementation services, our Professional Services team will host a kick-off conference call with your key project sponsors and team members. Our Technical Services consultants will review the information provided in your Technical Assessment Questionnaire, answer any questions your IT staff may have, and make recommendations regarding hardware and system software requirements necessary to support your unique deployment of HD Solutions. This important pre-cursor step to your overall implementation ensures that the appropriate physical infrastructure is available to support the HD Solutions installation and configuration process. This includes evaluating the existing hardware and software infrastructure and providing any upgrade recommendations. During this process, decisions regarding consolidating or re-purposing servers can be made, which may result in overall IT costs savings.

Hard Dollar’s Technical Services team provides technical platform guidance and recommendations, software installation, and technical configuration of HD Solutions components within the customer’s data center and software environments. Hard Dollar’s Technical Services Consultants have experience installing and configuring our solutions in hundreds of customer environments, and typically do so in conjunction with your IT systems administration staff. This becomes increasingly important for distributed environments or in cases where integration among many systems or modules is required. Our team can typically accomplish these tasks through the use of remote access and web-based sharing tools that allow your team to work “side by side” with our team. Not only does this ensure a smooth implementation by leveraging your staff’s inherent knowledge of your systems and security environments, but it also facilitates extensive knowledge transfer of the HD Solutions installation and technical configuration process to your staff. At the completion of these services, you will have a properly installed and configured HD Solutions environment to serve your business needs.

The core team is instrumental in working with HD Solutions consultants to ensure that implementation of HD Solutions exceeds your expectations for addressing business opportunities and challenges that caused you to select HD Solutions in the first place.

At the outset of the onsite implementation process, a Hard Dollar consultant will lead your core team through a deep-dive education process about HD Solutions’ capabilities. As our solutions are highly configurable, it is important for the core team to have an understanding of the multitude of possibilities within HD Solutions. This process positions the core team to be well prepared to work with Hard Dollar’s consultant to map business processes and workflow to a specific HD Solutions configuration. The core team is instrumental in making detailed business decisions about how HD Solutions software will be leveraged to provide the maximum benefit to the business. The outcome of this process is a well-defined, documented, and customized implementation of HD Solutions.

We are frequently called upon to work with the Customer’s IT organizations and consultants to design, develop, and implement integration solutions between HD Solutions software and these other systems. From basic budget and timesheet exports, to sophisticated real-time SOA integrations, Hard Dollar consultants provide expertise and best practices in overall integration architecture design as well as expertise leveraging the HD Solutions API.

Additionally, clients often have complex reporting and/or data export requirements which cannot be addressed via “out of the box” solutions. Hard Dollar can provide expertise for discovering and specifying client needs via functional and technical specifications, and develop and deploy these solutions to solve business issues.

Deployment and Rollout

the HD Suite Deployment and RolloutOnce HD Solutions has been completely configured and documented, and integrations have been constructed and tested, Hard Dollar consultants can lead in the deployment and roll-out of the solution throughout your organization. Training materials and tailored User’s Guides are developed, either by Hard Dollar consultants alone, or in conjunction with the customer’s core team and/or Training Department. A rollout strategy is defined and detailed schedules are drafted to ensure a smooth organizational rollout.

Hard Dollar can provide training resources to lead the rollout training throughout your organization, or we often are asked to develop and execute a “train the trainer” approach to deployment that leverages the customer’s internal staff and resources. Our consultant is experienced and comfortable under either scenario – being in front of a classroom, or functioning behind the scenes as your “go to” resources. Our team will work with you to define the optimal rollout strategy for your organization to ensure smooth and successful implementation of Hard Dollar throughout your organization.
